Judy Lynn Craig, age 51, died on 31 January 2011 in Saint George at the home of her parents.

She was born 10 October 1959 In Albuquerque, New Mexico. As a child she lived with her parents in Peru and Spain where she became fluent in Spanish and learned to play the classical guitar.

She sang beautifully and loved to entertain her family and friends with her music. Judy graduated from Timpview High School in Provo, Utah where she was an outstanding athlete in basketball, tennis and track. She received All State honors in each of these sports.

She married in 1982 and was the mother of two children, Cameron and Linley Jackman whom she loved deeply.

She is also survived by her parents Wesley and Mary Jo Craig, her sister Carol Leslie and her four brothers; David, Steven, William and James.

Her loving spirit was evident in her tender care for her mother and father with whom she lived and served in recent years. We will miss your laughter, endearing smile, and ability to light up any room that you entered, and most of all—you, Judy.

A private memorial service will be held for family and friends in Saint George on Wednesday from 5:00 – 6:00 pm at the LDS Pine View Stake Center located at 595 N. 2450 E.

I was crushed to read that Judy passed away earlier this year. She was such a great gal and like everyone, a huge part of our school. She most certainly will be missed.

I am deeply saddened to view the "in memory" page to see so many names on that list. So many good friends from the days of our youth have left us way to early. Yet another reminder that life is precious and that I'm getting older.
